Pederson’s Natural Farms

Headquartered in Hamilton, Texas, Pederson’s Natural Farms raises Duroc-sired pigs, a heritage breed known for high quality meat, incredible juiciness and superior marbling.

Raised on a vegetarian diet, without growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics, their Duroc pigs grow slower than those at industrial “farms”, and Pederson’s is quite alright with that. It’s a better life for the pigs, and produces the best pork ever eaten.

Pederson’s Natural Farms is pledged to growing their business responsibly and deliver on their commitment to animal welfare, community, waste reduction, and conservation. Pederson’s Natural Farms works with self-sustaining family farms because they’re good stewards of their land, and they feel the ethical obligation to provide their pigs with a comfortable life. These family farms not only raise their pigs in an open pen, but also grow the grain they use to feed them. Pederson’s participates in the Global Animal Partnership (GAP)’s 5 Step® Animal Welfare program. Their pork is certified Humane Raised and Handled.

Texas Quail Farms

Founded in 2003, Texas Quail Farms offers bigger, more flavorful, and juicy quail. Their all-natural Texas Prime Quail has been bred specifically to enhance favorable characteristics, including larger birds with a lighter color and more appealing texture than most other quail found in North America. The quail is minimally processed and does not contain any added hormones, antibiotics or additives nor has it been soaked or pumped with salt water.

Texas Quail Farms is a vertically integrated agribusiness with hatching, growing and processing facilities in Lockhart, Texas and Luling, Texas.
